PURPOSE:To prevent the undesirable reflection of light by caving in the segment area that forms a window of the insulated substrate, by providing a nonreflective insulator mask in its side circumference wall and by hardening it by a complete sintering. CONSTITUTION:Plural pairs of electrode pads 3a, 3b and plural terminals 4 for the external connection are provided on the surface of insulated substrate 1 made of ceramic, each of segments, which are arranged in the form of two contacted rectangles, is sandwiched by a pair of pads that are opposite to each other, the terminals 4 are lined along one side of the substrate. The surface of substrate 1 is flat and made of reflective material such as white ceramic, and it is coated with nonreflective insulator mask 6 such as black ceramic. The segment area that forms the window of substrate is caved in, its side circumference wall is also coated with nonreflective insulator mask 6, the undesirable reflection of light can be prevented by hardening the mask by means of a complete sintering. |
