ELECTRONIC TIME PIECE WITH TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION

PURPOSE:To enable a highly accurate correction of temperature charcteristics of a quartz oscillator in a wider temperature range by joint use of a first means of correcting oscillation frequenc of the quartz oscillation circuit and a second means of correcting the dividing ratio of a divider circuit. CONSTITUTION:A quartz oscillation circuit 1 is provided with a switch 1c making up a first correction means and a switching capacitance Csw to be changed therewith. The switch 1c is turned on or off depending the logic 1 and 0 of a time series pulse signal Pc. When it is off, the output capacitance of an oscillation inverter 1b gives a capacity Cout on the output side while when it is on, the capacitance becomes a capacity Cout+Csw. A divider circuit 2 is provided with a OR ELSE circuit 2c making up a second correction means. A time series pulse synthesizer circuit 18 and an interrupt pulse synthesizer circuit 17 in a correction signal synthesizer circuit 5 prepare signals for controlling the first and second correction means. The first correction means directly controls the oscillation frequency of the circuit 1 while the second correction means controls the number of pulses in the circuit 2.
