<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high catalytic acitivity even in a low-temperature zone, by adding a fluorine compd. solvent to a metal having oxidizing catalystic activity. CONSTITUTION:In the provision of an oxidizing catalyst having high catalytic activity even in a low-temperature zone without being influenced by water, 0.1- 20wt% a fluorine compd. solvent (e.g. a lower polymer of 1-chloro-2,2-trifluoroethylene) having a boiling point in the range of 100-350 deg.C, oxygen-dissolving ability above 40vol% and surface tension below 30dyne/cm is added to a metal such as nickel, manganeze, platinum or gold, or a metal oxide. A carrier for the catalyst is preferably a porous body having a pore size of 0.1-10mum. Accordingly, oxygen concentration in the flurine solvent becomes higher.</p> |
