<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently purify filthy water, by providing a vertically-swinging support body above a purifying water vessel, suspending net baskets packed with are grains having a rough surface at the top end parts of the support body, and moving the net baskets in the air and in the filthy water back and forth. CONSTITUTION:A rotary support shaft 3 rotatable back and forth by hydraulic or electric operation is provided above a purifying water vessel 1 filled with filthy water. The top ends of support bodies 4 are moved up and down in a seesaw-like state by the swinging movement of the rotary support shaft 3. At the top end parts of the support bodies 4, net baskets 5 packed with mineral particles 6 having a rough surface, e.g. KOKASEKI (grayish white sediment of soda-rhyolitic pumice flow) particles, are suspended with the central parts of their upper ends as supporting points 7. When the rotary support shaft 3 is rotated back end forth, the net baskets 5 receiving the mineral particles 6 having the rough surface therein at the opposite ends of the support bodies 4 are alternatively moved up and down under the suspended condition and moved in the filthy water and in air back and forth alternately. Consequently, the action of aerobes adherent to the mineral particles 6 having the rough surface becomes spirited.</p> |
