PURPOSE:To prevent toner from attaching to the inside wall of a hopper or stagnating with a simple structure, by allowing a vibrating plate to intermittently collide with the outside walls of the toner hopper. CONSTITUTION:A drive gear 17 is fixed to the end 3a of the rotating shaft of a toner replenishing roller 3, a fixed shaft 18 is protruded from the side wall of a toner hopper 1, and a driven gear 20 united with a bearing 19 is rotatably mounted on the shaft 18. The gear 20 is engaged with the gear 17, and a cam 21 constituting a vibrating plate drive mechanism is united with the side face of the gear 20. A first bended part 22 is formed in a part of the plate 12, and the end face 22a of the part 22 is slidably touched to the outer circumference of the cam 21. A second bended part 23 formed in a part of the plate 12 is connected with a pin 25 for hooking a coil-shaped spring 24 formed on the side wall of the hopper 1 using this spring 24, thus permitting the plate 12 to be pulled in the direction of arrow 13' and to intermittently collide with the outside wall of the hopper 1 in accordance with the rotation of the cam 21. |
