<p>The drive consists of a rotary disc crank or eccentric on which a crank rod is pivoted with its free end pivotably connected to a pivot arm supported in a fixed position. One end of an extensible piston rod is pivotably supported on the pivot arm, the other being pivotably attached to a guided piston rod for the filling piston. At the upper dead centre of the filling piston an imaginary line runs through the pivot arm bearing and the connecting bearing of this arm with the crank rod, at right angles to the piston axis. The pivot arm is constructed as a threaded rod which is screwed into a non-rotating slide block on which one end of the extensible piston can be pivoted.</p> |
