A solid stick compn. consisting of 1-30 parts of Na stearate per 100 parts of H2O and contg. 0.5-50 wt.% of >=1 cosmetic active ingredient intended to be deposited on human skin is described. The active ingredients may be bacteriostats, fugistats, pigments, dyes, perfumes, fragrance, emollients, humecants, UV absorbers, talc, and insect repellents. The proportion of Na stearate and H2O depended on the type and wt. of active ingredient used. The setting point is in the range of 50-60≦̸C. Compns. of prepns. various amts. of active ingredients are given.
