At trial points 2 and 3, the efficiency eta is found similarly. On the prolonged line of the straight line which connects the point 1 with minimum efficiency to the center of gravity between the remaining points 2 and 3, a new trial point 4 is set, and efficiency which corresponds to its trial manipulated variable is found. Then, a new trial point 5 is found similarly from the triangle 234. At this time, a manipulated variable which maximizes the efficiency within a manipulated variable range that meets restricted conditions is regarded as an initial trial point. This trying method is repeated until a maximum efficiency point 7, obtaining the best manipulated variables m1<7> and m2<7>.
