PURPOSE:To aim at accurate synchronization with conveying speed of a workpiece, by conveying jigs through a jig conveyor belt interlocking with an endless belt which frictionally touches the conveyor belt, in case of a device which conveys jigs by making them synchronize with articles on the conveyor belt. CONSTITUTION:When a conveyor belt 2 is driven, an endless belt 3 is also simultaneously driven by dint of friction contact force, and a pulley 7 of a jig conveyor belt 9 is as well driven into rotation. Then, a workpiece 1 is fed forward by the conveyor belt 2 and when the workpiece 1 is entering a spot just under a hig 8, brake force of a clutch brake 6 of the pulley 7 is then released so that the clutch gets operating, causing the jig conveyor belt 9 to start driving. The jig 8 is conveyed synchronously with the workpiece 1, during which the latter is machined and/or checked by the former. When the jig 8 travels as far as a set distnce L, again the clutch comes off and the brake gets applied, stopping the jig conveyor belt 9 to run. Subsequently, a motor 10 is driven and the jig 8 returns to the initial position. |
