PURPOSE:To shut off the connection of an ignition system and an air conditioning compressor to save energy in at least a predetermined temperature by providing a water temperature detecting switch and a room temperature detecting switch of an engine in a starter or ignition circuit of a control circuit for a magnetic clutch in an air conditioner for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A switch 30 for detecting water temperature in an engine 31 is mounted on a head of the engine 31 and connected between a coil 8 of a starter circuit 7 and earth 32 to cut the starter circuit 7 in at least a set temperature. Thus, in cranking the engine, an ignition circuit 5 and an air conditioning compressor 9 are not interconnected directly when the water temperature of the engine is in at least a predetermined temperature even if a starter switch 19 is turned on by a key switch 12 to operate the coil 8, change over a switch 4 from a contact 3 to a contact 5 side. Thus, the compressor 9 holds its inoperative condition. Hence, useless consumption of a battery is prevented and restarting of the engine is facilitated. |
