PURPOSE:To enable air flow near driver's and assistant's seats to be individually controlled for individual air conditioning in each seat by providing upper and lower air outlets in each air outlet of central, driver's and assistants seats in an air conditioner for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:Air 16 for air conditioning sent from a ventilating unit 10 through a damper 15 is sent respectively to a driver's seat air outlet 21, central air outlet 41 and assistant's seat air outlet 31 through ducts 20-40, and there branched respectively into upper and lower air outlets 22, 23, 42, 43 and 32, 33 through flaps 24, 25, 34, 35, 44 and 45. On the upper air outlets 22, 32 and 42 are mounted movable grills 22a, 32a and 42a. Also, the respective flaps 24, 25, 44, 45, 34 and 35 are constituted to be operated by crews in the definit positions. Thus, air amount from each air outlet can be controlled according to the liking of each crew to improve comfortableness. |
