PURPOSE:To make simply and surely page allotment from a manuscript by contacting each letter in the manuscript with detection switches successively and operating a switch for making a new column where there is a new paragraph or a blank space in the manuscript. CONSTITUTION:A counting gate circuit 4 is opened by turning on a counting switch 3. Then a detection signal for the letter of first number that is generated from a detection switch 1 is input to a letter number counter 5 via a letter pulse generator 2 and a circuit 4, and at the same time to a column number counter 15 and a page number counter 23 via an initial gate circuit 28 to count the first letter of the first column of the first page hereinafter designated as (1.1.1), and then successively (1.1.2)...(1.1.Cm). When the (Cm+1)th signal is inputted to the counter 5, a letter number comparison circuit 8 makes the counter 5 count the column pulse signal and resets the counter 5 to ''0'', and inputs to the counter 5 to count as (1.2.1) via a delay circuit 9 so as to make the counter count the first counting, and it is continued until the counting for one page is finished. |
