PURPOSE:To prevent misinsertion by arranging a means of reading an identification code which is to be printed if a paper of a ledger is new and blank as inserted receiving an insertion instruction with such an identification code. CONSTITUTION:A print head 22 is moved to the right while an identification code P1 is not found. If found, the identification code P1 is read with an optoelectronic element 61 incorporated in a reading device and after amplified 62, the output signal 63 is compared with a reference voltage 64 by means of a comparator 66. The value ''1'' is given to the part printed and ''0'' to the part not printed. If so, when the outputs of the comparator 66 are all ''0'', a blank status is outputted to a CPU3 with a judgement that the identification code P1 is not printed. At the same time, the print head 22 is automatically moved to the left and the identification code is printed while read with a reading device 21 for comparison. |
