PURPOSE:To load a program at a high speed with high reliability by comparing the arithmetic result of processing program data, loaded during program loading, with check data and then deciding on whether the program has been loaded accurately from the comparison result. CONSTITUTION:To load a processing program on a floppy disk FDK2, a CPU4 reads control information on the FDK2 to an RAM3 and checks its contents to decide on the processing program, thereby loading the program in the RAM3. At this time, processing program data are computed by a check data computation part 6. On loading the processing program, the CPU4 compares the check data in the control information with the computation result of the computation part 6 to check their coincidence. When the result shows the coincidence, it is judged that the program has been loaded correctly and when not, it is judged that the program has been loaded incorrectly. |
