PURPOSE:To contrive reducing vibration of an engine and making a balancer into light-weight and compact size in such a way that the balancers are installed at three places at the parts corresponding to the first-third cylinders for a balancer shaft which is in the inverse direction to a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:Crank arms of a crankshaft 1 for the first and third air cylinders are provided with the counter-weights 6a-1, 6a-2; 6c-1, 6c-2 and 6a'-1, 6a'-2; 6c'-1, 6c'-2 to the mass at the reciprocating part and revolving part of the engine. Besides, counter-weights 6b-1, 6b-2 to only the mass of the reciprocating part is installed on the crank arm of the second cylinder. Further, the balancer shaft 7 which revolves in the iverse direction at the same speed is installed on the crankshaft 1 which has been mentioned the above, and balancers 8a-8c for counterpoising only that which depends on the mass at the unbalanced reciprocating part are installed in the places corresponding to the first-third cylinder on said shaft 7. |
