PURPOSE:To grasp an error in positioning securely in the fault checking device for pulses for the automatic positioning of a press machine by detecting and displaying the fault of two pulses having different pulses accurately. CONSTITUTION:A shift register IC1 inputs a synchronizing clock pulse at the clock terminal C, an A phase pulse precedent during normal rotation at the data input terminal D, and a B phase pulse at the reset terminal R. A shift register IC2, on the other hand, inputs the synchronizing pulse at the terminal C, the B phase pulse precedent during reverse rotation at the terminal D, and the A phase pulse at the terminal R. Then, outputs from terminals Q1 of the registers IC1 and IC2, and outputs of AND circuits IC11 and IC12 are inputted to an OR circuit IC3, whose output is inputted as a setting signal to an FFIC13, thereby driving an external outgoing relay RY in accordance with the output of the FFIC13. |
