PURPOSE:To modify a voltage regulator to be a small capacity, and an entire testing device to be small-sized and light, by connecting in parallel a coarse adjusting resistance and a fine adjusting voltage regulator, and setting an output current mainly by switching plural groups of resistors of the coarse adjusting resistance. CONSTITUTION:An adjusting resistance 4, and a fine adjusting voltage regulator 6 are connected in parallel through a resistance switching device 5, therefore, a necessary current is increased by utilizing a secondary side reverse current of the voltage regulator (autotransformer) 6 against a prescribed resistance value, and decreasing 1 a current against a set resistance value, that is to say, dropping the voltage. Also, an output of the voltage regulator is supplied to a connecting terminal of a relay to be tested, through current meters 7, 8 and an adjusting or test changeover switch, and also the second counter of the changeover switch is connected. According to this constitution, a meter operating part and an electric power supply resistance part can be manufactured in one body, and a device can be modified to be extremely small-sized. |
