VIBRATION CONTROL MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain excellent vibration control performance covering a wide range of temperature by preparing polymethyl metahcrylate resin and polyvinyl chloride resin in a particular ratio of weight for main ingredients and adding plastic material and inorganic fillers in another particular ratio of weight to them as auxiliary ingredients. CONSTITUTION:Sheet-shaped vibration control material to be pasted on a structure body for reducing a vibration or a noise generated by said body is composed of main ingredients of polymethyl methacrylate resin and polyvinyl chloride resin in the ratio of weight 1:4 or 4:1 and auxiliary ingredients of plastic material 30-100 weight part and inorganic fillers 500-600 weight part in relation to the total 100 weight part of said two sorts of resin. In this composition, since a temperature dependency curve does not include any sharp peak, excellent vibration control performance may be maintained in a wide range of temperature and this material is serviceable for various purposes.
