MAKING METHOD OF MEDICINAL LIQUOR

PURPOSE:An essence of a turtle such as mud turtle is extracted with SHOCHU (distilled Japanese SAKE) and a fruit liquor or medicinal liquor is added to the essence to make a medicinal liquor with high nutrition and palatability. CONSTITUTION:Living bodies of mud turtle, loggerhead turtle or green turtle are dipped in SHOCHU of 35% alcohol concentration under a cool and dark place for one month to three years, then the solid and liquid parts are separated. The liquid is filtered to collect the essence, which is combined with water so that the alcohol content becomes 16% and sterilized by heating to prepare a turtle essence. The essence is added to fruit liquor such as Japanese plum liquor, lemon liquor or strawberry liquor and/or medicinal liquor such as garlic liquor or Chinese matrimony vine liquor.
