PURPOSE:To lighten a load on a CPU, by processing graphic information by an arithmetic means. CONSTITUTION:Once a CPU10 sends an arithmetic instruction, a dynamic memory access counter circuit 15 selects starting addresses of memories 11-13 to read graphic information in the selected addresses of the memories 11 and 12 to an arithmetic circuit 16. The circuit 16 performs arithmetic based upon the read graphic information, and the arithmetic result is written in the memory 13. Said processing is performed in one cycle of the circuit 15, which moves to the 2nd addresses of the memories 11-13 in the next cycle to repeat similar processing. After writing to final addresses, a processing means 17 sends an end signal to the CPU10. Consequently, the CPU does not contribute to the graphic information processing, so a load on the CPU is lightened. |
