PURPOSE:To produce a spinning reel whose attaching arms are less displaced after the molding, by injecting a molten synthetic resin material via an injection inlet provided at a position of a mold for molding a rotor situated at the back of the bases of the opposite bail arm attaching arms thereby molding the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A fixed mold 9, a movable mold 10 having a passage 13 and the injection inlet 12 situated at the back of the bases 6, 7 of the opposite bail arm attaching arms 4, 5 extending from recesses 11 and formed along the outer walls of a rotor 1, and a mold 8 provided with a core 15 positioned at the recesses that will form the attaching arms 4, 5 are connected to a nozzle 14 of an injection molder, a melted synthetic resin material is injected through the nozzle 14 to be poured via the recesses that will form the bases 6, 7 into the attaching arms 4, 5 and an annular section 3, so that the rotor 1 for a spinning reel is obtained which comprises a central annular section 3 that will be fitted rigidly to a rotating shaft cylinder of the reel and can rotate, and the right and left bail arm attaching arms 4, 5 that are connected by the back bases 6, 7 of the annular section 3 and are upright in parallel with the annular section 3. |
