ARTIFICIAL GRAPHITIC ROLL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an artificial graphitic roll with superior wear resistance by providing a specified Shore hardness to an arbitrary part of a sleeve forming the surface part of a roll. CONSTITUTION:An artificial graphitic roll having 45-75 Shore hardness at an arbitrary part of the sleeve forming the surface part of the roll is prepared. The specific gravity of the sleeve is adjusted to 2.10-1.90 by a butanol impregnating method. Thus, the extent of wear of the roll is reduced by about 20%, and a high quality silicon steel plate can be manufactured.
