PURPOSE:To improve the operating properties of a seat enable its one-touch folding, by providing an interlocking member for unlocking the back of the seat in response to the unlocking of its bottom. CONSTITUTION:A rear seat 11 comprises a bottom 13, a reclining unit 14 and a back 15. A holding member 20 is pivotally coupled to the underside of the seat bottom 13. An interlocking member 28 and the lockup member 26 of the seat back 15 are pivotally coupled to the upper bracket 22 of the reclining unit 14. When the holding member 20 is operated to put its contact part 20b into contact with the lower end of the interlocking member 28, the member 28 is turned clockwise into contact with the lower end 26b of the lockup member 26 to unlock the seat back 15. A cable may be used instead of the interlocking member 28. |
