PURPOSE:To push away a worker's hand before striking of dies, by installing a supporting shaft of a safety rod to a frame of a press, and a ram which moves up and down, fitting the safety rod into this supporting shaft, and swinging the rod to the left and right by being interlocked with a movement of the ram. CONSTITUTION:A supporting shaft of a safety rod 6 which is a safety device is installed to a frame 15 of a press, and a ram 3 which moves up and down, and to the installed supporting shaft, the safety rod 6 is fitted. Accordingly, a crank 1 rotates, the ram 3 descends through an arm 2, and the safety rod 6 is swung so that a worker's hand is pushed away from the way from dies without fail, before a punch die 4 and a die 5 fit each other, and the worker's hand is pushed away from the way. |
