PURPOSE:To produce heat radiation fins in a short time by forming supporting parts having a thickness equal to that of fins and a height larger than the thickness of the fins on the upper side of a seat plate in one body with the seat plate then brazing the fins onto the supporting parts thereby decreasing the difference in the elevation of temp. between the seat plate parts and the fin parts. CONSTITUTION:In the case of producing heat radiation fins of an Al alloy material, first Al alloy supporting parts 2 are provided by extrusion forming on the upper side of an Al alloy seat plate 1 in one body therewith. Composite brazing 3 is placed on the parts 2 of the plate 1, and further the end parts of fins 4 are fixed onto the sheet 3 by suitable jigs; thereafter, the assembly is put in a heating furnace. In such a sate, the inside of the heating furnace is heated to a prescribed temp., about 620 deg.C to effect brazing, whereby heat radiation fins 5 are obtained. Here, the parts 2 are made about 2mm. in thickness and about 3mm. in height and are provided perpendicularly to the plate 1 at 10mm. intervals. An Al alloy sheet of 1.6mm. thickness clad with brazing filler metals of 0.2mm. thickness on both top and bottom surfaces is used for the sheet 3. |
