PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of cogging and to reduce torque ripples, by detecting the poles of a magnet rotor, and on the basis of its output by conducting current to the designated armature in the range of specified angles. CONSTITUTION:By providing magnet rotors 3 and 3' on both up-and downsides of a stator armature 2, a single-phase coreless flat brushless motor 1 is constituted. The stator armature 2 is composed of n-armature-coils of u-phase made of conductors wound in troidal shapes around an annular stator yoke 6 at a position of the electric angle of u.360 deg. (where u is an integral number of 1 or over) and n-armature-coils of v-phase made of conductors wound in a troidal shape around the stator yoke 6 at a position of the electric angle of v.120 deg. (where v is an integral number of 1 or over) from the u-phase armature- coils. The current conduction to these armature coils are controlled on the basis of the output of a position localizing element to detect the poles of the magnet rotors 3 and 3'. |
