PURPOSE:To perform variable magnification operation by the operation of an operating member in an optical axis direction and focusing by its turning operation by using one operating member in the variable magnification operation and focusing of the zoom lens. CONSTITUTION:When an operating member 7 is rotated in either of arrow A, B directions, the rotation thereof is transmitted to a revolving shaft 11 and a gear 17 via a stationary shaft 7a and bevel gears 10, 14. Since the gear 17 is interlocked to a driving gear on a focusing lens, a lens holding member is moved forward or backward in the optical axis direction by the rotation of the gear 17, whereby focusing is accomplished. When the member 7 is moved in the direction parallel with the optical axis as shown by arrows C, D, a cord member 25 is rotated by pulleys 23, 24, and as the member 25 moves, a lens for zooming is moved in the optical axis direction, whereby zooming is accomplished. |
