PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation in positions of both substrates in pressurizing and regular calcination by sticking a resin having tack in the prescribed parts of the substrates which face each other in the stage of adhering of liquid crystal display substrates. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of printing a resin 2 of solvent type serving as a sealant on the surface of a segment glass substrate 1 into required shapes and affixing a common glass substrate 3 thereon after temporal calcination, a resin 5 having tack (sticky) is stuck on the end part of the substrate 1 by a printing or other method, and the substrate 3 is adjusted of position and is adhered thereto, then the assembly is subjected to pressurizing and regular calcination. Since both substrates are fixed by the effect of the above-described resin 5, the deviation in the positions as in conventional methods is virtually eliminated. |
