PURPOSE:To unnecessitate processing after casting and thereby to reduce sharply the number of necessitated processes, by providing a cutting edge on the inner- peripheral part of an intermediate die arranged on the drum part of a rotor, by rotating the rotor after casting a winding conductor, and by thereby removing a casting material adhering to the drum part of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus whereby a winding conductor 4a, an end ring 4c and a fan vane 4d are formed in one body by casting, an intermediate ring 10 is fitted freely between an intermediate die 5 arranged on the outer periphery of the drum part of an iron core 4 and the iron core 4, and a cutting edge 9 is provided inside the intermediate ring 10 in such a manner that it is made to contact with the outer-peripheral surface of the iron core 4 by a spring 8. A fixed die 6 and a movable die 7 are arranged on the opposite sides of the intermediate die 5, respectively, while a vane die 12 is arranged on the inner periphery side thereof through the intermediary of a bearing 13. After aluminum is cast through a runner 17, the iron core 4 is rotated to cut away a runner port 16, while a casting material adhering to the outer-peripheral surface of the iron core is separated by cutting with the cutting edge 9. |
