<p>PURPOSE:To omit an auxiliary exciter by manufacturing the transformer for excitation of a generator in split type while forming the trigger control circuit of a thyristor in changeover-possible form. CONSTITUTION:When a synchronous machine is initially excited, an initial excitation-signal generator 24 is connected to a gate pulse generator 16 by means of a changeover circuit 22, and a field breaker 41 and a field breaker 21-1 at the AC side are turned ON. When the voltage of a generator 1 rises up to prescribed value, the changeover circuit 22 is changed over to an automatic voltage regulator 15 side. When the synchronous machine is dynamic-braked, a synchronous breaker 4 and the field breaker 41 are tripped, field currents are demagnetized through a field discharge resistor Rd, a disconnecting switch 13 for dynamic braking is turned ON, and the changeover circuit 22 is changed over to an excitation signal generator 25 in case of dynamic braking. Accordingly, the auxiliary exciter can be omitted.</p> |
