PURPOSE:To clean two kinds of toners stably respectively with nearly 100% cleaning efficiency without damaging a latent image carrying body in a two color recording system. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning member 12 is constituted of a body 12A formed like an endless belt, a blade 12B and a recovering member 12C. The body 12A consists of two metallic pulleys and a metallic belt, and is so arranged as to be applied with a DC biasing voltage from a power source 13. A material which can charge two kinds of toners frictionally to a positive polarity, a material which can charge said toners frictionally to a negative polarity, or a material which can charge the same frictionally to mutually reversed polarities or a mixture of >=2 kinds of these materials is used for the material of the cleaning brush. |
