<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high-resolution TV picture without extending the transmission band width, by making the maximum frequency approximately two-fold frequency of the standard TV system, and adopting such interlacing scanning to form one picture with four fields. CONSTITUTION:Three primary color signals Sr, Sg, and Sb transmitted from a color TV camera TVSG are given to samplers SPLr, SPLg, and SPLb of a signal generating device SGA for generating a recording signal. In this case, maximum frequencies of respective signals are set to the approximately two-fold maximum frequency of the objective video signal in the recording or transmitting system, and consequently, the frequency of sampling pulses applied from a sampling pulse generator SPG to respective samplers is set to a value of >=(8.4X 2)M Hz by the sampling theorem. A synchronizing signal Ss and a field index signal Sf generated from the camera TVSG are inserted in such positional relation that one picture is formed with four fields.</p> |
