<p>Method of casting metal moulds for glass moulding in which the moulds are cast against a cooler, itself moulded in steel, which forms a plane suitable for forming the junction between the two halves of the mould. Each mould half has to be machined subsequently to produce flat mating surfaces. The mould is therefore provided wiht lugs at each end with which to grip the mould halves during machining and the cooler is provided with spigots between which the lugs are cast.</p> |
