PURPOSE:To reduce the size and thickness over the entire part of an illuminating device by disposing at least part of a printed circuit board to the space between a reflection plate and mounting base. CONSTITUTION:The printed circuit board 12 is constituted of a rectangular body part 12a and a tongue-shaped extending part 12b extending from the central part on one side of the body part 12a. The extending part 12b is formed to the size at which said part can be inserted into the space (g) formed between the bottom of a case 11 and the central projecting part 6a of the curved reflection plate 6. Parts 5b such as relatively small-sized capacitors of lamp lighting circuit parts 5 are packed thereon. Relatively large-sized parts 5a and a pair of sockets 8, 8 are packaged on the body part 12. The width W1 of the body part 12a is, therefore, reduced and the length C1 of the case 11 is shortened. The side of the illuminating device 10 is thereby reduced. |
