PURPOSE:To produce a lead battery plate where the mats in which the active substance will never drop out are laminated properly and stably, by filling a lead grid substrate with the active substance paste and immediately thereafter pressing the inorganic mat onto the coating face and drying. CONSTITUTION:It is comprised of an outer frame 1A and a face section 1B filled with an active substance surrounding said frame 1A, where the face section 1B is comprised of many grids b1 crossing laterally and longitudinally and an active paste filling hole b2 to be partitioned by said grids b1 thus to produce a lead grid substrate 1. The active substance paste 2 is filled in the face section 1B of said plate 1 through a filling machine to produce a filled substrate. Immediately after filling, or prior to the drying of the active substance paste 2, an inorganic mat or the glass mats 4, 4 are pressed through a proper press then it is left to be dried and passed through a heating/drying cage to dry and solidify the paste 2. |
