PURPOSE:To obtain any color image on a recording medium by only one nozzle by a method in which one or two or more solution containing chromogenic substances and a solution containing a developer are supplied through respective suppliers to one nozzle by varying their mixing amounts. CONSTITUTION:In a jet head 1, necessary numbers of ink suppliers of a similar form are attached to the periphery of a central ink supplier from which a developer liquid is supplied through a filter 6o, a storage chamber 5o, and a piezo-electric element 4o from a storage tank 7o to a jet nozzle 2. Also, from the surrounding ink suppliers, solutions containing chromogenic substances capable of producing different colors upon contact with the developer are supplied to the nozzle 2. By changing the degrees of driving the piezo-electric elements 41 and 42 of each supplier, the mixing ratios of the solutions of chromogenic substances are varied to obtain each monocolor, composite colors, and intermediate colors continuously. |
