PURPOSE:To improve a heat exchanging efficiency and to shorten a length in a longitudinal direction of a radiator, by a method wherein a radiator for a subcircuit is mounted to the outside of a side of a body of a diesel locomotive, and a radiator for a main circuit to the inside. CONSTITUTION:A radiator 1 for an engine cooling main circuit (a) and a radiator 2 for an oil cooling subcircuit (b) are connected through piping to an engine 6 for diesel locomotive. The radiator 2 for subcircuit is attached to the outside of a side part of a body, and the radiator 1 for main circuit is attached to the inside of the side part of the body. Cooling air, or suction air of a radiator fan 5, cools the radiator 2 for subcircuit, and is exhausted by the fan after passing the radiator 1 for main circuit. Temperature of cooling water for the subcircuit (b) is as low as about 68 deg.C, and temperature of cooling water for the main circuit (a) is as high as about 85 deg.C. Thereby after cooling water passes the subcircuit (b), it can be enoughly used as cooling water for the main circuit (a) as well which has high temperature. |
