PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF ERYTHROPOIETIN

摘要

The method of extracting erythropoietin from urine using am absorbent such as polystyrene-type absorbing resin, chitosan and diatom earth was described. 2N NaOH was added to Urine to make pH 8.5, and followed by 2N HCl to make pH 7.5 after the generated participate was removed. The polystyrenetype absorbing resin was added to above urine, and agitated for about 1.5 h. pH 9.24 buffer soln. having 80 % ethanol was added to the absorbing resin to remove erythropoietin.
