PURPOSE:To prevent the mistake of collation for seal stamp, by outputting a sharp seal stamp, through the removal of dusts of seal stamp image data obtained from the seal stamp data by scanning the data with a cleaning means. CONSTITUTION:A seal stamp data 12 pressed on a reading sheet 11 is read as image data of a bit pattern with a scanner 13 and stored in an external memory 14 as a seal stamp image data. On the reading sheet, usually invisible dusts with human eye are attached and the dusts are made visible on the seal image data through a scanner. For the said seal stamp image data, peripheral bits (8-bit) of each bit of the data are checked at a cleaning processing section 15, whether or not the bits are removal objective bits 51, and if the peripheral bits are all at off-state, they are regarded as bits of dust and the bits of data are brought into off-state. The said processing is performed to all the seal stamp image data, allowing to obtain a clean seal stamp. |
