PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic card having less varieties of thickness of a magnetic layer and having good stacking properties, by forming a transfer sheet by providing the magnetic layer and a projecting layer on the surface of a peeling substrate and transferring this to the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A peeling layer is formed on the surface of a peeling substrate 4 such as polyethylene film, and a magnetic layer 2 and a projecting layer 3 are provided thereon to form a transfer sheet A. This transfer sheet 2 is brought into contact on a composite base material 1' which is formed by coating the front and back sides of a non light transmitting sheet 11 with covering sheets 12, 12' etc. and is heat-pressed and the layer 2 and the layer 3 are transferred on the base material 1' and the peeling substrate 4 is peeled to obtain a magnetic card. By making use of this transfer sheet A, the varieties of thicknesses of the layer 2 and the layer 3 is regulated and the magnetic card having good stacking properties is manufactured highly efficiently. |
