<p>The installation comprises a mixing vessel and a recirculating pump of which the suction and delivery pipes terminate at spaced locations within the vessel. The suction pipe extracts liq. just below the surface of liq. in the vessel and the delivery pipe returns liq. into the base of the vessel. The vessel pref. has the form of an inverted 'Dunces Cap'. The inlet end of the suction pipe is pref. adjustable for height on the wall of the vessel. For additional agitation the vessel pref. contains a motor-driven, helical impeller near the base of the vessel. The vessel is pref. supported in a three-legged, removable structure. A transparent, level sighting 'glass' is pref. fitted in the vessel wall, extending vertically, very nearly from top to bottom of the vessel. Extremely simple and inexpensive installation providing highly efficient mixing.</p> |
