<p>The vineyard trailer transports workpeople cutting grape bunches, and is hitched to a tractor. It has seats (4) travelling past the vines on both sides, allowing the manually-cut grapes to drop onto a collector feeding them to a hopper, from which they are in turn transferred to a skip for transport to the storehouse. A double panel of movable plates (8) sloping downwards directs the grapes into a single conveyor (9). The collector plates with conveyor can be contained in a cage adjustable for height in the trailer, one of whose wheels can also be adjustable for height, to allow working across slopes.</p> |
