PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of hot water into the titled valve even when a handle is turned erroneously by a method wherein a control valve body is thrusted by a projecting shaft and the body of a thermostat of thereby block a hot water passage. CONSTITUTION:In case where water only is discharged, a handle 37 is turned to a low temperature side whereupon a thermostat 32 moves to the left, the projecting shaft 33 of the thermostat 32 moves a control valve body 15 to the left and a hog water valve 13 and a hot water valve seat 12 are brought into contact with each other to thereby prevent the entry of the hot water into the valve. Next, when the handle 37 is turned further, the control valve body 15 is thrusted by the hot water valve seat 12, a spring 18 is compressed by the projecting shaft 33 of the thermostat and the body of the thermostat 32 thrusts the control valve body 15 directly so that the rotation of the handle 37 is regulated at the position where the valve body 15 is thrusted. Further, since the thermostat 32 is cooled by water, the projecting shaft 33 of the thermostat fits into the valve body 15 and a spring receiving seat 18 is moved to the right to come degree to become stabilized. |
