PURPOSE:To obtain a high power output and to increase reliability of a mirror by placing the whole of a resonator in an airtight container. CONSTITUTION:An airtight container 4 is surrounding the whole of a resonator which is consisted of a laser medium 1, a total reflection mirror 2, a partial reflection mirror, a spacer 6, a rigid terminal plate 7, an angle fine adjusting screw 8 and a pulse motor 16, etc. As a particle reflection mirror 3 is installed in laser gas, humidity or the like is not condensed into dewdrops on the mirror surface when the mirror is cooled with a refrigerant 13. Also, as the inside of the container 4 is normally kept clean without the existence of dust or the like, the surface of the mirror is always maintained clean. At the same time, as the whole of the resonator is placed in the container 4, almost no readjustment of mirror angle is necessary even when the laser gas pressure is changed. |
