摘要 PURPOSE:To interrupt the communication of pressure causing disturbance such as pulsating pressure and detect normal viscosity by arranging gear pumps on the front position of the inflow port of a capillary tube and the back position of the outflow port respectively. CONSTITUTION:Pump gears 24'', 27'' are respectively incorporated in gear pump rooms 24', 27' and these pump gears 24'', 27'' are mounted on a shaft 29 directly connected to a motor by penetrating into a bonnet 22 so as to be synchronously rotated as a duplex pump. A passage 30 for connecting a fuel oil inlet 21' to the absorbing side of the pump 24, a passage 31 for connecting the discharging side of the pump 24 to the inlet of a capillary tube 35, a passage 32 for connecting a low pressure side return pipe 36 used also as a protecting pipe for the tube 35 to the absorbing side of the pump 27, and a discharging conduit 33 for the pump 27 are penetrated into a pump cover block 25 mounted between both the gear pumps 24'', 27''. Consequently the variation of external pressure is not transmitted to the principal part of measurement through a liquid, continuing the accurate measurement of viscosity.
