PURPOSE:To measure the moisture content of a sample in a short time, by heating the sample to be measured the moisture content and the standard sample and detecting the difference of temperature of both samples. CONSTITUTION:Each sample 8a to be measured the moisture content and sample 8b to give the standard value, is placed on each heat sensitive plate 7, 7. Temperature of a case 9 placed the samples is raised in a constant speed by a heater 10 and a compensation heater 6 connected with an automatic temperature control device 1. The temperature of the samples are measured by differential thermocouples 5, 5, 5 and these are recorded on a recorder 4 through a differential heat compensation circuit 2. The moisture content of the sample is computed by a leading edge inclination angle of a signal and a peak area. |
