PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording material for use in copying machines, electronic computers, labels and the like, improved in the resistance to finger printing and platicizer, by incorporating a zinc salt compound of a thiophenol derivative into a heat-sensitive color forming layer contaning a leuco dye to be formed on a support. CONSTITUTION:A small amount of a zinc salt compound of a thiophenol derivative (e.g., zinc 2-benzoylaminothiophenolate or zinc polychlorothiophenolate) is incorporated into a heat-sensitive color forming material containing a colorless or light leuco dye such as 3-(N-methyl-N-cyclohexylamino)-6-methyl-7-amilinofluorene. The mixture is applied on a support such as slick paper to form a heat-sensitive color forming layer to obtain a heat-sensitive recording material. |
