<p>Diazo compositions dispersed within a transparent polymer matrix are cast from an organic solvent onto a transparent polymeric carrier sheet. By developing a photographic image in the diazo layer and coating this with a heat-activated adhesive, it is possible to produce transfer foils containing high resolution images, which are particularly suitable for application by hot stamp techniques to substrates such as bank notes and the like.</p> |
