Method for continuously cleaning of textile webs using one or more powered conveyor belts (5, 31, 35, 37), on which the length (G) is placed in folds, the textile material length (G) after a part of the length thereof (5, 31, 35, 37) or at the end or near the end of each length being taken hanging freely therefrom and being placed in a new folded layer which is different from the fold layer of the partlength coming before it or from the length (5, 31, 35, 37) coming before it and placed on the next part-length or the next length (5, 31, 35, 37), characterised in that the length (G) at the end of the part-length or of each length (5, 31, 35, 37) at an angle of less than 70 degrees to the part-length or to the band (5, 31, 35, 37) is pulled away therefrom in a direction opposite to the direction in which the length (5, 31, 35, 37) is being conveyed. |
