The invention relates to a board-like information and advertising carrier for use in supermarkets with mobile trolleys. It is disadvantageous to mount information boards with special offers at just any point in supermarkets since the field of vision of the customer is in any case filled up to overloading by the large visible supply of goods and the associated details and price tags of the merchandise. The intention is to show a way of mounting information boards with special offers at such a place which will inevitably be seen by the customer. This object is achieved in that the board-like advertising carrier is adapted approximately in shape and dimensions to the shape and dimensions of the front and/or rear end wall of a mobile supermarket trolley and is attached thereto by means of a releasable connecting member.
